B.C. Publication’s All India Bar Examination Guide (New Syllabus AIBE 2022) by Shambhu Prasad Choudhary – 5th Edition 2023 – A Ready Reference Book With Previous Year (2017 To 2021) Solved Questions.

From the academic year 2009-2010 on wards all students (newly enrolled as an Advocate) shall have to pass Examination (AIBE) within two years of graduating LL.B, as per the resolution was adopted by the Bar Council of India on 10 April 2010.

As declared by the Bar Council of India, syllabus is – Constitutional Law, LPC (Indian Penal Code), Cr.P.C (Criminal Procedure Code), C.P.C (Code of Civil Procedure). Evidence Act, Alternative Dispute Redressal (ADR) including, Arbitration Act, including Lok Adalat, Family Law, Public Interest Litigation, Administrative Law, Professional Ethics & Cases of Professional Misconduct under BCl rules, Company Law including CSR, Environmental Law, Cyber Law, Labour & Industrial Laws, Law of Tort, Motor Vehicle Act, Consumer Protection Law, Law related to Taxation, Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Property Laws, Negotiable Instrument Act, Land Acquisition Act, and Intellectual Property Laws. These subjects are divided into Category l’ and ‘Category Il’ subjects. There are five types of questions: Law- based, Knowledge-based, Judgment-based, Illustration-based and Theory-based.

AIBE question paper has one hundred (100) multiple-choice questions carrying One (1) Mark each is spread across above subjects. The minimum score required to clear the AIBE is 40%. There is no negative marking.

Most of the books in circulation provide only Objective type (MCO) questions with their answers. However, they do not provide a complete guide to solve the question. In my opinion, this Ready Reference Book will be helpful in preparing for your AIBE Exam and you can also take this book as your guide in the examination hall with credibility.

Given the importance of AIBE, this Ready Reference Book would be helpful for all candidates preparing for the examination. Although every care has been taken in this publication of this book some errors or omissions or human errors, or typographical error may be possible. The publisher will be obliged if any mistakes are brought to notice for carrying out correction in next issue. Constructive suggestion for improvement of this book will be highly appreciated.

I also convey my gratitude to the entire management of Book Corporation for helping in the publication of this book. I am also grateful to Sri K. G Tripathi, Advocate, High Court, Calcutta, who have given me all sorts of support to publish this book.
