International Trade Law (WTO, GATT, GATS, TRIPS) and India By Prof Jyoti Rattan,Anshula Rattan Atre 2nd Edition Dec 2025

International Trade Law, which includes the rules and customs governing trade between different countries, has always been a challenging area and is generally found to be technical and difficult to grasp by law researchers who are new to the subject.

International Trade Law from the legal perspective, in a simple, user-friendly, and easily understandable form in this book. It is the most up-to-date book consisting of international conventions for trade by air, sea & land, INCOTERM, WTO, and various related international trade agreements like GATT, GATS, TRIPS, TRIMs, and other related agreements.

It also mentions the Indian position, i.e., actions taken by India to make Indian laws in tune with these international trade agreements. The first edition of this book was submitted to the Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research, Reggio Calabria, Italy, in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the Degree of the International Post-Doctoral Programme in “New Technologies and Law’ 2023

Important case laws and numerous examples have been incorporated wherever relevant to clarify and simplify the topics. I am sure that all readers will find this edition quite useful in their studies.
