Constitutional Miscellany- Musings on the Anecdotal Plane Edition 2026
Constitutional Miscellany is not a textbook. It is a guided stroll through the backstage of the Indian Republic through fog-laced Assembly halls, chandelier-lit courtrooms, mosquito-plagued Constitution House, and the quiet corridors where invisible architects shaped a nation’s destiny. Seventy chapters traverse anecdote, argument, personality and paradox, making constitutional law accessible, even delightful. Each piece stands alone, inviting the reader to begin anywhere and linger everywhere. Rigorous yet readable, solemn yet warm, scholarly yet human, it is the Constitution encountered not as distant monument, but as living conversation one that began in the winter of 1946 and has never, in truth, ceased.
